Role Focus:
The Assistant Product Manager will be responsible for planning and executing marketing activities for two cardiovascular brands, including one new product launch and one established product. This role provides hands-on ownership of brands, with guidance, and is suited for candidates with pharmaceutical experience who are keen to grow into a full product management role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage two cardiovascular brands, ensuring effective planning and execution of marketing strategies.
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives
- Lead the new product launch, including launch strategy, timelines, promotional materials, and execution.
- Manage ongoing marketing activities for an established product to drive growth and market share.
- Work closely with cross functional team to ensure smooth execution of plans.
- Develop and manage promotional materials, sales tools, and brand campaigns.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Track product performance, sales trends, and campaign effectiveness, and propose action plans.
- Manage assigned marketing budgets, forecasts, and inventory planning.
- Provide product and disease knowledge support to the sales team
Preferred Background & Skills:
- Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Marketing, or related discipline
- 24 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry; sales exposure is an advantage
- Prior exposure to marketing, product management, or marketing projects is a must
- Experience in cardiovascular or other therapeutic areas is an added advantage
- Strong planning, execution, and coordination skills
- Demonstrated interest in marketing with willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Good communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
- Strong team player, adaptable and versatile with the ability to work across different cultures
