Location : Nilai (Negeri Sembilan)

Salary : RM8000

Key Responsibilities :

1.To teach at undergraduate and graduate level in specialization areas (Education, IT, Management)

2.You will be assigned with not more than 252 contact hours per 4-month block. However, the management reserves the right to revise the manner, location and mode of such workload from time to time as deemed necessary.

In the event that the workload exceeds 252 contact hours, you will be remunerated accordingly.

3.To assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.

a) Prepare Lecturer Materials

b) Upload and update content into Online Learning Management System (Blackboard)

c) Develop and assign quizzes, assignments, tutorial, projects, tests, oral presentation, etc.

d) Monitor attendance and progress of students.

4.Provide academic as well as pastoral support to students.

a) Be available for academic counselling (minimum 4 hours a week)

b) Provide extra help and guidance to weak students

c) Provide high degree of commitment towards student engagement, individual development and graduate success

5.To participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.

a) Produce, collate and moderate quality exam papers

b) Invigilate class tests and final exams and ensuring proper examination environment

c) Prevent academic dishonesty

6.To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum.

a) Participate in on-going curriculum, syllabus and course structure reviews through involvement in Subject Specialist Groups (SSG)

b) Participate in developing and driving new pedagogical approaches supported by online learning and real-life industry projects

c) Recommend and develop new programs supported by market data including competitive intelligence.

7.Work in collaboration with sales & marketing to achieve targeted student enrolment; including organizing school talks, open days, program previews and academic counselling

8.Partnering with the Academic director for operational planning; includes workload planning, timetabling, student retention program, and institutional development activities and compliances matters.

9.Hold the valid teaching permit from Ministry of Higher Education.

10.Meet the University requirements for teaching & research.

11.Have valid Professional Certificate refer to the specialization and skills.

12.Will be assigned workload for teaching pathway or research pathway and will supervise postgraduate students.

13.Holding Doctorate in Specialization Programme (Undergraduate or Postgraduate) as below:

14.The qualifications of the academic staff must comply with the programme requirements as stipulated by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Qualifications & Experience:

- Doctoral (PhD) or Equivalent

- Minimum 5 years of experience
