Job Purpose
The Associate Project Engineer supports the execution of Digital Solutions projects by handling technical coordination, documentation, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
This role provides exposure to both pre-sales support and project execution, serving as an entry point for developing future Project Engineers. The Associate Project Engineer ensures that day-to-day project operations run smoothly, supporting compliance, communication, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Pre-Sales & Proposal Support
- Assist the Sales/BD Team and Project Engineer in preparing proposals and solution documents.
- Collect and organize technical data, vendor quotations, and resource requirements.
- Support initial feasibility checks and risk assessments under supervision.
2. Project Documentation & Administration
- Maintain organized project files, including contracts, POs, delivery notes, and timesheets.
- Prepare standard templates for reporting, meeting minutes, and client updates.
- Ensure timely submission of supporting documents for invoicing, payroll, and claims.
3. Scheduling & Coordination
- Support preparation of project schedules and milestone tracking.
- Coordinate logistics for project activities, vendor meetings, and client engagements.
- Follow up with internal teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure timely task completion.
4. Execution & Quality Support
- Assist Project Engineer II in monitoring project progress and documenting issues.
- Participate in system and equipment testing to verify compliance with requirements.
- Support quality control activities and escalate non-compliance or risks.
5. Financial & Reporting Support
- Collect cost data for budgeting and invoicing.
- Assist with expense tracking, claims, and purchase orders.
- Provide preliminary inputs for P&L preparation under Project Engineer II's guidance.
6. Learning & Development
- Gain exposure to project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Develop technical and financial literacy in project delivery.
- Actively participate in training, mentorship, and on-the-job learning to grow into Project Engineer I
Job Requirement

- Familiarity with project environments (internships, academic projects, or junior roles) is an advantage.
