We are looking for actuarial talents (fresh graduates to 3 years experience) to join our growing actuarial team, supporting both Life and General Insurance engagements.
The role will focus primarily on supporting actuarial audit work, while providing exposure to a range of actuarial areas including valuation, financial reporting, capital, and modelling.
You will gain hands-on experience working with real client data, actuarial models, and financial results, while developing both technical and business understanding of the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
Actuarial Audit Support
- Support actuarial work on audit engagements for life and general insurers
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and reasonableness checks
- Review results, assumptions, and methodologies, and perform movement analysis
- Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation
Technical & Advisory
- Support work in:
- IFRS 17 reporting
- Valuation / Embedded Value (Life)
- Reserving (GI) and capital (RBC)
- Assist in model runs and quantitative analysis
Data, Tools & Team
- Support actuarial and audit-related work using a range of actuarial, data, and analytical tools
- Support data preparation, transformation, and analysis
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to engagement delivery
- Continuously develop actuarial and technical skills
Requirements
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline
- 0–3 years of experience in actuarial or insurance-related roles
- Progress in actuarial exams is preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong foundation in Excel and data analysis
- Exposure to Actuarial, Data & Modelling Tools is advantageous, including:
- Prophet / RAFM
- ResQ
- Python, R, SAS, SQL, Alteryx or similar
Other Attributes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with a structured approach to work
