About the role:

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Legal Operations Associate with a strong interest in AI and legal technology to join our forward-thinking in-house Legal team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving legal department — with a focus on contract management, legal technology administration, and process improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a career at the intersection of legal technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and business operations.

What you'll do:

• Serve as a day-to-day administrator and point of contact for the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. Support the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including intake, routing, tracking, and execution of a high volume of commercial agreements.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate contract review, drafting, and summarisation tasks, and proactively identify opportunities to embed AI into routine legal workflows.
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues, coordinating with vendors or IT as needed.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and internal knowledge bases.
• Assist in developing and maintaining contract templates, playbooks, and fallback positions in collaboration with our lawyers.
• Stay current on developments in Legal AI, including emerging tools, regulatory considerations, and best practices, and share relevant insights with the broader legal team.

What you'll need:

• 0–2 years of experience in legal operations, business operations, or a related role (internship experience considered).
• A self-motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and legal technology - you actively experiment with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar LLMs and can speak to how you've applied them to real tasks. Passion for this space is a must.
• A collaborative and positive team player with a can-do attitude; you take direction well, execute reliably, and bring a constructive, solutions-focused approach to feedback and direction from senior colleagues
• A how-can-we-help mindset, focused on finding practical solutions for colleagues while maintaining high standards.
• Strong verbal and written English proficiency; fluency in Chinese is a distinct advantage.
