This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.The Associate Supervisor, Production Management (Management Path), is primarily responsible for assisting the supervisor in overseeing team members, supporting daily operations, and ensuring compliance with processes. You will manage production activities, develop schedules, allocate resources, and ensure a safe work environment.
Job responsibilities:
• Assist the supervisor in overseeing team members and supporting daily operations
• Ensure compliance with processes
• Manage production activities, including assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging to meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards
• Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate resources
• Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions
• Lead and/or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement
• Assure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent
• Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management and driving talent development
• Ensure positive employee relations and enhance employee engagement and recognition
• Make minor decisions affecting daily tasks, impacting operations and team efficiency
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Minimum requirement:
- Open for fresh graduates
- Diploma/Degree in Science or relevant engineering
This role expands beyond people leadership to include:
1. Heavy utilization of Smart Planning tools and Tableau dashboards for past-due analysis
2. Manufacturing lead-time tracking, with a strong focus on delivering site OTIF performance.
