Leadership and Coaching: Lead a team of 1-2 accounting executives, and assist the Team Lead in guiding an additional 2 senior executives. Provide coaching, promote skill development, and foster a collaborative team environment.
Accounting Oversight: Review and perform full sets of accounts, process necessary journal entries, and handle complex account transaction processing.
Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and other regulatory requirements, continuously expanding your technical knowledge.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Maintain and enforce SOPs, ensuring processes are streamlined, effective, and adhered to.
Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their requirements, and ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in accounting workflows, demonstrating a willingness to unlearn and relearn processes as needed to optimize efficiency.
Communication & Problem-Solving: Proactively communicate challenges and propose solutions, displaying strong problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other ad hoc-related assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
