Job Duties
- Under strict supervision, services, troubleshoots, repairs and/or replaces, aligns, and maintains electrical and mechanical logging equipment as directed.
- Requires familiarization with surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment.
- Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
- Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.
- Skills are typically acquired through and associate degree in electronics or related electrical experience.
- Trains directly under a Principal or Senior Logging and Perforating Technician, to gain knowledge of logging equipment and tools, in preparation for formal maintenance school training.
Qualifications
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Technician-L&P, or Technician-L&P, Sr.
