Now, we are looking for a Corporate Advisory Associate (1–2 years experience) to join our Johor Baharu (JB) team. This is a full-time role based in JB office.
Key Responsibilities: Your Impact
- Go beyond DCF: You will deep-dive in analysing business models to uncover the hidden value that drives high-stakes M&A and Capital Fund Raising mandates.
- Building the Financial Backbone: Own the creation of sophisticated, driver-based financial models that serve as the foundation for multi-million dollar transactions. Your work will provide the clarity and confidence our clients need to pull the trigger on major deals.
- Solve Complex Puzzles: Every client is a new challenge. You will navigate the unique nuances of diverse industries, where you will use generative AI as a research engine & tool to rapidly flatten the learning curve, enabling you to focus on solving the solve the intricate puzzles of business recovery and restructuring with surgical precision.
- The Recovery Suite: Assist in corporate triage for distressed assets. You'll assist in liquidations, judicial management, receiverships, and debt restructuring where every hour counts in saving businesses and preserving the assets value.
Who we are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or any related field is required. Having a professional certification such as ACCA, CVA, CPA, C.A (M), or CA is considered an advantage.
- Good analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Highly proficient in excel with a good knowledge in using generative AI as tool to speed up your workflow. You know how to engineer a prompt to get the applicable and appropriate data that you need.
- Ability to manage multiple cross-national projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
