Meet The Team

Join us in shaping and continuously improving our international operations. We are looking for a Trade Compliance Associate Analyst. This person will play a key role in managing and monitoring compliant cross-border transactions, while enabling decisions in support of a robust global supply chain. You will interact with diverse, inter-departmental experts in support of the accuracy and integrity required in LMW customs declarations. You will facilitate the compliant consistency and dependability of Dexcom's on time and in full deliveries worldwide. Where You Come In

  • You will learn and apply international commerce required elements and analyze their use in Dexcom's supply chain such as, the Harmonized Tariff System, Country of Origin determination and declaration, Incoterms and the government agencies interacting with customs in safeguarding the public and promoting economic growth.
  • You will thrive on process mapping, data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • You will support the trade compliance team and the logistics and distribution function, in inter-departmental projects with experts in supply chain, finance, manufacturing operations, tax, legal, regulatory.
  • You will identify and help drive scalable business solutions to minimize risk and maximize reach.
  • You will help develop and deploy training in pursuit of the solutions.
  • You will help monitor and audit performance within the supply chain.

What Makes You Successful

  • Responsible for the execution and oversight of Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) operations, including ad-hoc applications, renewals, amendments, and ensuring strict adherence to Section 65/65A of the Customs Act 1967 and other Malaysian customs laws such as the SST Act and STA Act.
  • Ability to prepare and submit monthly and annual statements such as M1, M2, M, Sub-Con & VAA.
  • Maintain proper documentation for LMW activities, including inventory and customs records, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage customs declarations, classification, duty computation, and liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, MIDA, and other related agencies.
  • Understanding international trade laws, Incoterms, customs regulations, import/export controls, sanctions, embargoes and country-specific trade compliance rules.
  • Ability to analyze trade data, shipment documentation and Identify risks, discrepancies, and compliance issues proactively.
  • Precision in reviewing paperwork, classifications (tariff codes, HS codes), and licensing requirements.
