JOB SUMMARY
To plan, monitor, organize, lead, implement and manage the assigned project at site to ensure completed and closed within stipulated time and compliances with the specification, cost and contract requirement. Responsible to assist Head of Unit/Section in implementation and managing selected CAPEX projects which to be aligned with Company's requirements, policies, objectives and KPI.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To prepare project report from time to time as instructed by management.
- To coordinate and monitor project progress of work, highlight any issue and outstanding matters including technical, HSE, commercial, social etc. which required to be resolve in order to smoothen the project progress.
- To assist Project Manager and Head of Section in verification of the contractor's progress of claim and resolve any contractual issue or dispute arise from contractor.
- To assist Project Manager in the project coordination and arrangement of project or technical meeting.
- To liaise with the Consultant in getting the latest project status report and updating management from time to time.
- To prepare proposal and paper for management approval on the project contractual issue i.e: EOT, VO, CPC, CNC, CMGD etc.
- To liaise with Resident Association (RA), local authorities, local council, third parties or public in related to the project for the accomplishment of the work.
- To review and response the project documentations submitted by Contractor, Consultant and Region office.
- Attending any internal or external meeting as instructed by management.
- To handle third party complaint on the issue arise due to project implementation and initiate corrective action to the complainant.
- Witness and endorse Testing and Commissioning of handed over equipment and projects.
- To comply with all company policies, procedures and standard.
- To provide support to Project Team Leader in any related practicable duties when required.
- Assist Design Unit during design stage on providing necessary information based on previous CAPEX project experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Minimum 3 years working experience in water industry, project management and construction industry field.
- Knowledge in project management software i.e. Microsoft Project
- Well verse in Microsoft Office
- In-depth understanding of Contractual terms, Air Selangor Standard Operating Procedure, Air Selangor Specification, SPAN regulation, water distribution system
