Functional (job responsibilities)
- Manage and lead Auto Loan Sales Centre to achieve monthly and yearly KRA targets:
- Identify and assign good dealer coverage plan for quality sourcing and healthy portfolio to the team
- Mobilize sales force effectively at dealer showrooms / sites to capture new sales
- Support staff in term of credit assessment, mitigation and recommendation of approval for cases required support from Auto Loan Centre Manager level
- Manage the staffing through appropriate hiring for long-term career growth:
- Closely monitor sales productivity and performance
- Conduct training for the team on product, policy or market strategy change
- Join sales team on their sales call / dealer marketing to provide on-the-job training
- Identify talent for promotion and career development
- Ensure staffing requirement is met and within budget
- Develop strategic partnerships plans for Auto Loan business growth:
- Design and implement strategic business plans through car dealers and direct sales team
- Acquire new business, strengthen relationships with new and existing car dealers via active participation in dealers sales and promotional campaigns / vehicle launches
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while aware of new products and competition status
- Responsible for empanelment of New / Used and Unregistered Recond dealers in the market
- Conduct virtual meeting with car dealers
- Responsible for onboarding new car dealers to Floor Stock Facility (FSF)
- Achieve and develop the assigned territory sales and market share performance for Hong Leong Bank
- Monitor the financials operations within the Auto Loan Sales Centre:
- Assess profitability of Auto Loan business
- Control, monitor and manage the Auto Loan Sales Centre overhead expenditure, entertainment, traveling allowance, printing and stationery etc. to ensure cost efficiency
- Ensure sales staffs comply with the business policies, practices and regulations.
- Additional responsibility of running with adhoc projects / tasks assigned.
Managerial (team/group responsibilities)
- Lead and motivate Auto Loan staff to work towards achieving their respective individual KRA targets
- Actively involved and interact with the Credit team on loan structuring and enhance credit due diligence of the cases
- Present sales expenses report and realistic forecast to the Management team
- Constantly supervise, provide coaching and guidance to develop staff for improvement
- Promote career development and create a conducive working environment for teamwork and growth
- Perform all Auto Loan staff performance appraisal.
