Job Description

In this role, you will support the operation, adoption and continuous improvement of the Atlassian Cloud Enterprise platform across the Würth Group, with a focus on Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence.

You will ensure stable daily operations by handling tickets, providing application support and maintaining platform configurations in a structured and reliable manner. In addition to recurring operational tasks, you will also work on support and configuration topics, analyse issues and user requirements, and contribute to the further optimization of Atlassian solutions in line with business and operational needs. Working closely with users, key users, internal stakeholders and international colleagues, you will help deliver efficient, user-oriented and well-documented platform services across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of the Atlassian Cloud Enterprise platform across the Würth Group.
  • Handle incidents, service requests and user inquiries related to Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence, including timely analysis, resolution, documentation and escalation where required.
  • Configure and maintain projects, workflows, request types, permissions, dashboards, spaces and related platform settings across Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence to support stable and efficient operations.
  • Build and maintain filters, dashboards and reports to improve operational transparency, usability and user adoption.
  • Support users and key users in the effective use of Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence, and maintain clear knowledge articles, user guides, FAQs and internal support documentation.
  • Analyze recurring issues and identify improvement potential in application setup, support processes and user experience.
  • Assist in implementing and optimizing Atlassian solutions based on business and operational requirements, including testing, release activities and changes in the application landscape.
  • Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent standards, governance, support quality and continuous service improvement across the platform.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics or a comparable technical qualification.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience administering Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM) and Confluence in an enterprise environment.
  • Atlassian certifications, especially in Jira Administration, Confluence or Jira Service Management
  • Proven ability to configure and maintain projects, workflows, request types, permission schemes, dashboards, Confluence spaces and related platform settings; able to create filters and reports for operational or business use.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based enterprise platforms and application governance
  • Experience with automation, scripting, integrations and marketplace apps in the Atlassian ecosystem
  • Basic programming skills (Python or Node.js) are a plus.
  • Practical knowledge of service‑management processes and support organizations, including user documentation and training support; ITIL Foundation or higher is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate user requirements into practical application solutions.
  • Analytical, solution‑oriented mindset with a structured, reliable and service‑focused working style.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work effectively in English within international, cross‑functional teams.
