Our Audit practice is supported by a centralized technology function that designs and implements technology-enabled solutions to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and consistency. As an Audit AI Solutions Engineer, you will support the development and operation of applied AI and automation solutions used within real audit workflows. Working under the guidance of experienced audit and technology professionals, you will help translate audit requirements into practical, well-governed technical solutions that operate within regulated and qualitycontrolled environments. This role is deliveryfocused and handson, offering Fresh Graduates the opportunity to build real systems while developing a strong foundation in professional services, audit governance, and applied AI.
Responsibilities
Under appropriate supervision and review, you will: - Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of AIenabled solutions and automation used in audit workflows - Assist in building AI agents and automation using Python and the Microsoft technology ecosystem - Translate business and audit requirements into technical tasks and system components - Contribute to solution documentation, testing evidence, and deployment artefacts in line with audit quality standards - Monitor deployed solutions and assist in identifying performance, accuracy, or operational issues - Support ongoing improvements and enhancements to existing AI and automation solutions - Communicate progress, risks, and challenges clearly to team members and stakeholders - Adhere to established governance, security, quality, and risk management frameworks - Apply foundational Python programming and logical problemsolving skills to practical delivery tasks - Translate business requirements into practical, wellgoverned technical solutions - Demonstrate attention to quality, documentation, and compliance requirements in regulated environments - Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders - Show willingness to learn, adapt, and improve through feedback Learning & Development: You will be supported through: - Structured onboarding into audit technology, tools, and governance standards - Onthejob coaching from senior team members - Exposure to real audit use cases and delivery cycles - Continuous learning opportunities aligned to KPMG's technology and audit capability frameworks
Requirements
MustHave: - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline - Foundational knowledge of Python programming, including scripting and logical problemsolving - Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity - Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms - A strong willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve NicetoHave: - Exposure to Microsoft technologies (e.g. Azure, Power Platform) - Basic familiarity with APIs, automation tools, or data handling - Internship or project experience involving technology or data solutions
