Audit Associate

Our client is part of a renowned professional business services group headquartered in Singapore with established operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China. They provide business outsourcing services strictly only to their clients in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of audit partners, managers and seniors based in Singapore and Malaysia, you will be given the opportunity to grow in the Audit portfolio and other related disciplines such as Tax and Accounting.

You will be servicing Singapore clients, and you will learn and gain experience in Singapore Income Tax Act and Audit regulatory with full guidance and support by the tax team in Singapore.

Full guidance and comprehensive training in audit, tax and other key areas akin to audit will be provided to assist you to embark and expand your Audit portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in delivering quality auditing services and supporting projects assigned.
  • Working with team members to carry out audit plans in line with relevant standards.
  • Supporting the audit process through financial, operational, and management reviews.
  • Assisting in preparing audit reports and ensuring assignments are completed on time.
  • Performing basic tax computations in compliance with the Income Tax Act.
  • Learning to provide practical recommendations through analysis and investigation.
  • Ensuring compliance with the firm's policies, best practices, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or currently pursuing a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA, CPA Australia).
  • Strong interest in developing technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Technologically savvy and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
