Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • To handle more complex statutory auditing and accounting assignments independently.
  • Participate in client assignments from planning to completion, including executing audit procedures with minimal supervision and ensuring audit work papers are properly documented to support audit conclusions.
  • Guide and assist junior team members in preparing audit schedules and executing audit procedures.
  • Respond to review points raised by the superior within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Identify and compile issues, and collaborate with superiors to address and resolve them with clients.
  • Follow up diligently on outstanding issues and client deliverables.
  • Review active companies financial statements prepared by clients.
  • Undertake other assignments assigned by the superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Part-qualified or currently pursuing a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of audit experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, especially under tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous, well-organized, and capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
