Audit Engagement Management
- Lead, manage, and review multiple audit engagements simultaneously across various industries
- Oversee audit planning, risk assessment, execution, and completion in accordance with firm standards
- Review and approve audit documentation, ensuring full compliance with ISAs, MFRS/MPERS, and ISQM requirements
- Manage and allocate audit resources effectively to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and on-the-job training to audit seniors and assistants
- Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the audit team
- Act as a role model for professional standards and firm values
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and professional advice
- Identify value-added opportunities for clients including process improvements and risk management insights
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client management and boards on audit findings and technical matters
Firm Development & Quality
- Work closely with Partners to improve audit methodology, documentation standards, and firm processes
- Contribute to internal reviews, technical updates, and quality control initiatives
- Support the firm's strategic goals through active participation in practice development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification — CA (ICAEW/ICAM), ACCA, or CPA Australia; or active membership with MIA preferred
- Minimum 6–8 years of external audit experience, with at least 2 years at Manager level or equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge of ISAs, MFRS, MPERS, and ISQM
- Proven experience managing multiple audit engagements and client portfolios simultaneously
- Track record of coaching and developing junior audit professionals
