Job Summary
Involved in planning, supervising, coordinating, performing and assigning SME or MNC audit engagements
Lead a team to participate in IPO or PLC audit assignments from beginning to end
Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships, execute assurance procedures
Working under the supervision of an Assurance Manager, Senior Manager or Director, and helps execute audit work and present its findings to the client.
Responsible for supervision and management of services to clients, including preparation of audit strategy and business plans, setting budgets, scheduling audits
Duties and Responsibilities
Involved in planning, supervising, coordinating, performing and assigning SME or MNC audit engagements
Lead a team to participate in IPO or PLC audit assignments from beginning to end
Identify and communicate audit issues, and improvement opportunities with managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit process
Possess solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles (e.g MFRS/IFRS/MPERS/CA 2016 and ISA), quality control standards and technology implementation procedures
Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships
Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct
Requirements
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or those with a full or partial professional
qualification (MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, ICAA, CPA(A) or CIMA)
At least 3 years of relevant external audit experience
Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications
Knowledge in ProSystem fx Engagement will be an added advantage
Experience involved in audit of PLC and engagement in compliance with MFRS is an added advantage
Self-motivated, positive attitude, strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
Strong leadership and management skills
