We are seeking an experienced Automation & Digitalization Manager to lead smart manufacturing initiatives and drive Industry 4.0 transformation within a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the factory automation and digitalization roadmap
- Lead automation, controls, vision, and digital engineering teams
- Drive automation projects from concept through implementation and handover
- Oversee automation equipment, robotics, PLC/HMI systems, machine vision, and smart factory solutions
- Lead digitalization initiatives including MES, OEE monitoring, predictive maintenance, machine connectivity, and IoT integration
- Improve productivity, process stability, quality, and equipment performance through automation
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity best practices
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, IT, and external vendors to deliver successful projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial automation, digitalization, or Industry 4.0 environments
- At least 3 years of leadership or people management experience
- Strong knowledge of automation systems, robotics, PLC/HMI programming, motion control, and machine vision
- Experience with MES, IoT platforms, machine connectivity, data analytics, and smart factory technologies
- Understanding of industrial networking, cybersecurity, and system integration
- Experience in precision manufacturing, semiconductor, medical devices, or other high-tech manufacturing environments is preferred.
