Job Summary
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automation solutions that improve Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes. You will work with business users to understand their requirements, automate workflows, and transform data insights into actionable outputs using Python, APIs, Power BI, and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation workflows for SCM reports and business processes.
- Work closely with SCM users to understand requirements and translate them into automation solutions.
- Integrate systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation tools.
- Process and analyze data to identify exceptions and trigger actions.
- Support Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Power Automate related initiatives.
- Ensure automation outputs are accurate, reliable, and easy for non-technical users to understand.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing automation solutions.
- Maintain documentation and support system enhancements.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in automation, programming, data analytics, or system integration is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Required
- Knowledge of Python programming.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience working with structured data and spreadsheets.
Preferred
- Exposure to Microsoft Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of Power Automate.
- Familiarity with webhooks and API integrations.
- Exposure to AI/LLM tools is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of web development (e.g., Next.js) is a plus.
