Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, wire, modify and troubleshoot industrial control panels, DC circuits and machine I/O.
- Read and update electrical schematics, I/O lists, cable schedules and component specifications.
- Diagnose faults involving protection devices, relays/contactors, sensors, motors/drives, safety devices and networks.
- Develop, commission and troubleshoot PLC sequences, alarms, interlocks and PLC-robot handshakes.
- Program, teach and troubleshoot industrial robots.
- Integrate and test pneumatic/mechanical assemblies.
- Carry out staged commissioning, maintenance, root-cause analysis and technical documentation in compliance with safety requirements.
Education/Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong AC/DC control-circuit, protection, grounding, schematic-reading and safe-isolation fundamentals.
- Hands-on panel wiring, termination, electrical measurement and systematic fault-finding.
- Working knowledge of PLC I/O, sensors, relays/contactors, motors/drives and safety circuits.
- Able to program, teach and troubleshoot industrial robots.
- Practical mechanical and pneumatic assembly, alignment, adjustment and maintenance skills.
- Safety-conscious, hands-on and disciplined in commissioning and documentation.
