Job Opportunity: Automation (Python) Tester Engineer
Role: Automation Tester (Python)
Duration: 1-Year Contract (Extendable)
Working Mode: Onsite
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation test scripts
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution
- Perform test case design, test execution, and defect reporting
- Support validation of software features, APIs, and system workflows
- Participate in test planning, documentation, and continuous improvement activities
- Debug issues through log analysis and structured troubleshooting
- Collaborate with global teams to meet project timelines and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in software testing or test automation
- Strong Python programming skills for automation testing
- Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience with test case design, execution, and defect tracking
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
