We are seeking a Junior Automation QA Engineer with 25 years of experience in software testing, specializing in API and UI automation. The successful candidate will contribute to the quality assurance of payment switch, ensuring correctness and robustness of payment batch file processing, API services, and user interfaces. This role is with our client.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
25 years of QA experience, with focus on automation testing.
Solid hands-on experience in pytest, Playwright, Selenium, and Postman.
Familiarity with API testing methodologies (RESTful services, JSON, XML).
Proficient in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Added Advantages:
Experience in financial services / payment systems testing.
Exposure to IBG, Direct Debit, or real-time payment rails.
Strong understanding of file-based testing, preferably with knowledge of International Clearing File Format or ISO20022 payment format.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
Good exposure to Agile working environment.
