Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in Credit Card Systems. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge in mainframe technologies and hands-on experience with Card Link/Vision Plus platforms, along with the ability to work in Agile and DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using mainframe technologies.
- Work on Credit Card Systems (Card Link / Vision Plus) for development and support activities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate within Agile teams and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Work with DevOps tools and processes for deployment and integration.
- Manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Deliver high-quality output with minimal supervision.
Required Technical Skill Set (Must-Have)
- Strong experience in Mainframe with Cards domain (Card Link / Vision Plus)
- Core Mainframe Expertise:
- z/OS, CICS
- COBOL, JCL
- VSAM, DB2
- Tools:
- Zeke, File-Aid, Changeman, Abend-AID
- Experience in application lifecycle (design, coding, testing, debugging)
Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of:
- CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL (advanced usage/enhancement level)
- Exposure to:
- Java, APIs
- Automation tools
- Familiarity with:
- Easytrieve, REXX, SAS
- Endeavor, Expeditor
- Experience in Agile and DevOps practices
