Job Description

Job Description:

  • Assist senior technicians with the daily inspection, preventative maintenance, and servicing of the automated sorting machine.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving minor mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in the calibration and testing of key components such as sensors, conveyors, actuators, and PLC systems.
  • Help maintain accurate maintenance logs and assist with the inventory management of critical spare parts.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Certificate in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related TVET field.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems through coursework, projects, or previous practical training.
  • Basic understanding of automation components like PLCs, sensors, motors, and pneumatic systems is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to read basic electrical schematics or mechanical drawings.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, and a strong team player with a safety-first mindset.
