Job Scope Overview:
We are seeking for an Test Engineer who specializes in providing SQA (software quality assurance) services in the BFSI (banking, finance, securities and insurance) domain to join our team. The role requires software testing practice knowledge, particularly in supporting the implementation and maintenance of automated framework for end-to-end functional regression testing cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for maintaining the automatedframeworks in support of functionalregression testing, using script or model-based approaches with a high degree of reusability, leveraging on enterprise or open-source tool-suites, APIs (application programming interfaces), SDKs (software development kits), function libraries (DLLs) and any associated utilities.
- Work with client-side stakeholders including Developers and Business Analysts to clarify and establish expected application workflows and associated behaviours, technical dependencies and configurations, to facilitate test automation.
- Work with test design team to obtain domain knowledge transfer, and test cases selection to establish the baseline automated functional regression test suite to provision the required test coverage and productivity, and also support automating the test data preparation.
- Assist test team leader on velocity estimation required for test automation related activities based on assigned or additional scope, by providing relevant input, comprising application workflow of various complexity levels, in support of service delivery.
Experience, Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 3-8 years& above of work experience in providing SQA in the BFSI industry, holding respective test automation roles in support of functional regression testing, involving framework design implementation, and maintenance
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree with major in Computer Science or equivalent field, and preferably certified in software test automation or automation tools, and familiar with SDLC (software development lifecycle), including Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps.
- Related certifications: test automation CT-TAE, ASTQB, CSTAS/E, CSTE; automation tools UFTD, LRD, Tricentis NeoLoad, Triscentis Tosca AS1/AS2/AE/TDS, etc. Versed in VBScript, JavaScript, Python, YAML/JSON, and SQL, and preferably Selenium, Junit and Jmeter.
- Passionate in technologies, receptive and keenness in learning, meticulous, analytical and competent in problem-solving, with good interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English language, including for both written and verbal communications. Possess clear thought process and able to articulate clearly.
