Automation Test Engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and a passion for quality assurance. You will be responsible for designing and executing automated test scripts, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using automation tools.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results.
• Identify, record, and track defects in a defect tracking system.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-11 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
