Automation Test Lead (Open for Malaysian)

Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Lead to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for quality assurance, leading automation testing initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the automation testing efforts for various projects within the team.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionalities and improve test coverage.
• Identify, record, and track defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure quality assurance processes are being followed.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers in automation practices and tools.
• Continuously improve the automation testing processes and practices within the team.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test data based on project requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in automation testing and quality assurance.
• Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
