About The Opportunity
On behalf of our client , we are hiring an Automation Test Lead to support their Banking Project . Our client is a global strategic engineering and consulting organization with a strong presence across the US, Vietnam, Mexico, and Poland, specializing in accelerating innovation through deep expertise in product development, QA, and Data & AI-native engineering.
Joining the team as an Automation Test Lead , you will take full ownership of the test automation process and drive delivery excellence for international engagements. You will also be responsible for architecture robust test strategies, resolving operational blockers, and maintaining advanced automated frameworks to ensure the highest standards of software performance, functionality, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day testing operations, manage resource allocation effectively against staffing plans, and provide regular status updates to internal squads and client stakeholders.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, gathering detailed requirements, communicating project updates, and proactively addressing QA-related concerns.
- Analyze complex product specifications to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test plans, scripts, and frameworks.
- Take complete ownership of the test automation lifecycle, continuously optimizing testing practices, executing test suites, and analyzing results to identify defects.
- Partner closely with development teams to ensure optimal product test ability and work with related departments to unblock access or account issues.
- Guide, train, and mentor junior members of the test automation team, fostering a strong culture of knowledge sharing and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in test automation. Proven experience in mobile automation testing is a must-have.
- Strong programming proficiency in Groovy , Java, or Python. Experience using Katalon Studio.
- Solid practical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Fluent English proficiency with a proven track record of successfully interacting with and managing global clients.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to Malaysia for on-site work and client engagements (for candidates Vietnamese-based)
- Nice-to-Have: Previous experience or domain knowledge in the Banking industry, as well as relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium).
