Automation Tester

Title: Software Automation Tester (Quality Assurance Engineer)

Location: Cyberjaya

Experience: 3-5 years

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design documents to ensure they are clear and testable.

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Appium,

Postman and Cucumber BDD.

• Participate in Scrum activities and support continuous testing throughout the sprint.

• Execute automated and manual tests, identify defects, and report them accurately.

• Work closely with developers, Test Lead, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation test cases and regression test suites.

• Analyze test results and investigate automation failures.

• Log, track, and retest defects.

• Support test data preparation and test environment readiness.

• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Prepare test execution reports and provide testing status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Test Automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Appium, Postman and Cucumber

BDD.

• Experience with TestNG/JUnit and automation framework development.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Knowledge of Git, Jira, and CI/CD tools Jenkins is an advantage.

• Knowledge

• ISTQB Foundation Certification is preferred.
