Execute debt products comprising debt securities, syndicated loan and project finance which shall encompass formulating and undertaking business development and origination functions.
Responsibilities:
- To be one of the members working together with the Team Leads to achieve the division's revenue based on targeted revenue set on individual basis
- To support the Team Leads in origination and execution to achieve overall results on a team basis
- The role will include preparation of pitch books & presentations, structuring & execution of debt securities, syndicated loan or project finance, which includes due diligence process, cashflow modelling, preparing information memorandums, liaison with rating agencies and relevant regulatory authorities and investors/ participating lenders/ investment banks, documentation, attending to financial close of transaction amongst others.
- To continue to strengthen the market positioning of the department as a niche player in the debt capital market and key market leader in the loan syndication space.
Requirements:
- Degree holder from a reputable institution of higher learning (with a minimum grade of second class upper, or a CGPA score of 3.5 and above) and/or professional qualification (eg: CFA) or MBA.
- Minimum of 5 -10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking/ Debt Origination and Loans/Debt Capital Market. Relevant corporate experience will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills are a pre-requisite.
- Good networking base with strong interpersonal skills
- A good team player with strong mental agility and able to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
