Job Description:
- Execute and support the implementation of Compliance, Governance and Integrity frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Draft, prepare, and present reports, submissions, and presentations to Senior Management and the Board/Board Committees.
- Ensure compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Securities Commission (SC)s guidelines (where applicable), relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct compliance monitoring, governance reviews, and integrity assessments.
- Provide advisory on compliance and governance matters to business units.
- Support the Head of Department in implementing initiatives and action plans, including governance reporting to stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Compliance, Governance, and/or Integrity within a financial institution or related regulatory environment.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking with the ability to anticipate issues and propose solutions.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- High proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva for professional reporting and presentation.
- Proactive, firm, and able to assert authority when necessary.
- Demonstrates high integrity, ethical conduct, and a strong sense of accountability.
