Job Purpose
- To manage the development, implementation and evaluation of corporate responsibility and event strategy in line with Bursa Malaysia's requirements, the Group's business strategy, brand positioning and values to build stakeholder relationship and influence positive corporate reputation among stakeholder groups.
- To liaise directly with various business partners and support units to ensure that corporate responsibility projects and events are developed and implemented successfully in accordance to the Group's and lines of businesses (LOB) marketing plan, communication strategy, brand values and remain within the agreed budget.
- To strategise, plan and implement the overall year plan for corporate responsibility as well as the budget for the financial year.
Job Responsibilities
Corporate Social Responsibility
- To strategise, implement and manage Corporate strategy and/or ground-level activities for the Group and/or the Bank to support corporate responsibility and business strategies as well as brand values with the agreed timeline, budget and quality standards.
- Assist the AFG Sports & Recreational Club with the planning and implementation of corporate responsibility activities and to raise funds for charity.
- To respond to sponsorship letters and emails from various organisations when needed.
- Manage corporate responsibility initiatives and financial literacy programmes in particularly the key ie AEIOU Challenge and Eco Biz Dream Project
- To ensure that all corporate responsibility initiatives and financial literacy programmes comply with Bank Negara Malaysia's requirements.
- Manage staff donation schemes, communication to staff and administration of the scheme.
- To ensure all Corporate Responsibility & Events Manual, policies and guidelines are updated.
- To ensure the Sponsorship Request Form that submitted by LOBs/Dept are being reviewed and conducted internal inspection on a half yearly basis that everyone are compiled with the requirement as per the Sponsorship Procedures.
- Plan and prepare monthly progress updates on the CSR projects via power point deck.
- Liaise with vendor and Group Information System to manage and track the AEIOU app system.
- Implement CSR activities under the Employee Volunteerism programme.
Process Improvement
- Improve the corporate responsibility processes in line with the best practices.
Job Requirement
Knowledge
- Basic degree and/or professional qualification in event management, mass communications and marketing.
Skill Sets
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Possess oral and written communication, able to communicate with all levels of management.
- Possess good, interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially power point.
- Ability to plan and organise corporate responsibility projects and events.
- Possess good negotiation skills.
- Good in multi-tasking, works well under pressure.
- Knowledge of venue providers and site selection skills and material production e.g. booth and printing material, etc.
- Knowledge of the entertainment industry as it relates to contracting entertainment for functions.
Experience
- At least a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in CSR or sustainability or related field.
