AWS Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage AWS Landing Zone, AWS Organizations, and Control Tower for multi-account governance.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Configure and manage AWS networking components, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN, Security Groups, and NACLs.
• Implement AWS security best practices using IAM, SCPs, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and KMS.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
• Plan and execute AWS cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, manage incidents, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to ensure system reliability.
• Provide operational support and ensure high availability, performance, and compliance in enterprise production environments.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Engineering with core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Auto Scaling, ELB, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Experience implementing AWS Landing Zone, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and multi-account governance.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
• Experience with cloud automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN, Security Groups, and NACLs.
• Expertise in AWS security services and best practices, including IAM, SCPs, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and KMS.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
• Proven experience delivering AWS cloud migration or modernization projects.
• Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis using CloudWatch.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale production cloud environments with a focus on reliability, security, and automation.
