Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud migration and experience in the FSI (Financial Services Industry) sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud technologies and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture.
Key Scope of Works
- Work with clients to understand their business requirements and provide AWS cloud-based solutions to meet those requirements.
- Lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of AWS cloud solutions for clients in the FSI industry.
- Conduct detailed technical assessments of existing systems and applications to determine their cloud readiness and develop migration strategies.
- Perform the migration of on-premises infrastructure and applications to AWS cloud environments.
- Implement cloud-based security, monitoring, and automation solutions to ensure the security and availability of cloud-based systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Required Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
- Experience in the FSI industry is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud migration tools and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture principles.
- Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Willing to travel and accept overseas assignment
