Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position situated in Cyberjaya, for the role of an Azure Cloud Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud environments to support business operations. Key tasks include deploying infrastructure, optimizing cloud services performance, maintaining Linux systems, managing databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects. The role also involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring system security and compliance with necessary standards.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge on DEVOPS technology / Tools and its process.

Experience in setting up and supporting Azure Kubernetes services will be an added advantage.

Programming/Scripting skills are a bonus Powershell, Python, Terraform).

Experience in implementing Infrastructure As Code will be an added advantage.

Experience in managing or supporting cloud infrastructure will be added advantage. Such as Azure, AWS, Huawei, Alibaba and Tanzu.

Experience in Azure cloud capacity monitoring and trend analysis will be an added advantage.

Required to be responsible, good at problem solving skills, and a high flexibility (oncall/weekend work).

Need to have a basic cross functional knowledge toward (Network / Database / Infrastructure / Webservices).

Understanding of application, server, and network security and compliance (e.g. BNM RMIT, PCIDSS, SOC Type II, NIST, ISO27001, etc) requirements.

Knowledge of Azure cloud components not limited to Kubernetes, AD, DNS, Container Registry, Load Balancer, Azure Monitor, Virtual Network, Key Vault, Backup, Snapshot, Defender for cloud, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, Storage Account, Bastion, Virtual WAN, Network Watcher, Azure Grafana, Azure Site Recovery and Microsoft Sentinel.

Working knowledge or experience in managing JENKINS, AZURE REDIS, CONFLUENT KAFKA, TIKV and TIDB will be an added advantage.

Knowledge in Windows 2019 and Linux (REDHAT/Ubuntu) setup and troubleshooting.

Self-motivate, Self-discipline and keen to pick up new technology and skillsets. Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills

Require a distinct focus on customer needs and results.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Minimum Degree graduated in IT related field.

Certification on Azure Cloud is a MUST. At least AZ-900 passed. AZ-104 and AZ-305 will be an added advantage.

Docker Certified Associate (DCA) certification will be an added advantage.

ITIL v3 and above will be added advantage.

Work Environment:

8:45am 5:45am (Monday to Friday)

Standy / work on Friday/Sat/Sun if any release / change / deployment activity happen

Office is located in client's location, Cyberjaya
