Job Title: Azure Cloud Solution Architect
Role Overview: The Azure Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing scalable, secure, and high‑performance cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This role partners with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to plan cloud migrations, modernize applications, and ensure optimal use of cloud services across the organization. While Azure is the primary focus, AWS experience is considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end‑to‑end cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead cloud migration assessments, landing zone strategies, workload prioritization, and application modernization (microservices, containers, serverless).
- Create high‑level and detailed architecture documents, solution designs, and reference architectures.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure architectures align with cloud security best practices, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
- Guide development and DevOps teams in implementing CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and automation (Terraform/Ansible).
- Optimize cloud performance, scalability, cost, and availability using FinOps principles.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies, tools, and services to support innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership during project execution, design reviews, and troubleshooting complex cloud issues.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business requirements into robust cloud solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture, solution design, or application modernization.
- Strong expertise in Azure (primary); AWS cloud knowledge is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud networking, storage, identity, security, and hybrid connectivity.
- Proficiency with containers (Docker), Kubernetes, APIs, and cloud‑native application design.
- Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps, monitoring, and automation frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
