We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Architect to join our Data & AI practice, with a strong focus on
technical presales,
solution architecture, and
modern data platforms on Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and expertise in project delivery. This role requires a unique blend of deep handson engineering expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Leadership & Solutioning: Lead pre-sales engagements, including responding to RFPs/RFIs, conducting discovery workshops, and delivering compelling, value-based presentations and demonstrations (PoCs) to senior business and technical stakeholders. Develop comprehensive effort estimates and delivery plans, packaging the proposed solution into a clear, executable delivery approach. Updating contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with other subject matter experts in the business.
- Technical Architecture & Delivery Oversight: Provide architectural governance and leadership for multiple concurrent client projects, ensuring the design and implementation of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions on the Microsoft Azure/Fabric platform
- Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and adherence to engineering best practices
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Build trusted relationships with clients and internal cross-functional teams (Sales, Delivery, Practices) to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and align data strategies with business goals.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Define technical direction and standards for the practice, stay ahead of emerging trends in cloud platforms (especially Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and Other Azure Data Services), and data governance / security, and contributing to the development of new solution offerings.
- Project Delivery Accountability: Take full accountability for endtoend project delivery of data solutions, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are achieved in line with the agreed delivery plan
Qualifications
Skills & Experiences
- Must have deep, hands-on expertise with the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem: Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Services like Synapse Analytics, ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL & Power BI
- Experience working with stakeholders to create technical visions, high-level architecture, and delivery roadmaps for large programs of work that involve platforming/re-platforming Data Solutions within Azure cloud, utilizing tools such as Databricks and Synapse
- Capability in creating design artifacts and presenting them for approval at architectural forums attended by multi-disciplined stakeholders from engineering to senior business & technical client executives
- Experience in designing and delivering large-scale Data Platform solutions using relevant approaches (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Cloud Scale Analytics, etc.)
- Familiarity with Python, big data technologies (Apache Spark, Kafka) and real-time analytics solutions.
- Identifying and designing for key architectural characteristics such as performance, security, and reliability
- Proven experience in a client-facing, pre-sales, or technical consulting role, with a track record of securing new business and managing client expectations.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring a technical team.
