Azure DevOps Engineer- Malaysia

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 57 years of experience to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and AI workloads using Azure DevOps. The role involves managing multi-environment deployments, implementing Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code, and automating build, test, and release processes for platforms such as Airflow and Databricks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure, Git, scripting, and container technologies, along with solid understanding of networking, identity management, and security within cloud environments. This position requires close collaboration with data engineering teams to optimize deployment workflows, ensure governance, and establish monitoring and alerting for pipeline and infrastructure reliability.

Job description

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and AI workloads using Azure DevOps
• Support infrastructure-as-code deployment using Terraform
• Manage environment segregation (development, staging, production) and enforce access controls and deployment governance
• Automate build, testing, and release processes for Airflow, Databricks, and related components
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimize deployment workflows and troubleshoot environment issues
• Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms for data pipeline performance and infrastructure reliability

Skills/ Experience

• 57 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in Azure
• Strong command of Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipeline automation
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience supporting data platform deployments (Databricks, Airflow, data warehouses)
• Understanding of networking, identity management, and security practices in Azure
• Strong scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Prior experience working with multi-environment setups and production-grade deployments
