Azure Devops Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer who can independently design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, IaC, automation, CI/CD pipelines, any scripting language and modern DevOps tooling with strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Implement Azure Kubernetes services and expertise in ISTIO, NSG, Load balancing concepts

• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python / Bash scripting

• Design gateway (INGRESS, EGRESS with simple TLS / MTLS using SSL certificate)
• Automate CICD pipelines using GenAI concepts

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment workflows.

• Manage version control workflows and branching strategies using GitLab.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to support smooth delivery processes.

• Ensure compliance with cloud governance, security best practices, and operational standards.

• Independently drive tasks, resolve issues, and deliver end-to-end solutions with minimal supervision.

• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Required Skills & Experience

• 9+ years of experience in Azure DevOps with Kubernetes or Cloud Engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services (AKS, AKV, Storage Accounts, NSG, Gateways, Certificates).

• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible.

• Experience with CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

• Scripting experience with Python / Bash Scripting.

• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and AKS is a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and deployment issues.

• Excellent communication, ownership mindset, and ability to work with minimal guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (DevOps Engineer) are an added advantage.

• Any Kubernetes Certification

• Familiarity with security best practices, cost optimization, and cloud governance.
