Key Responsibilities
- System Oversight: Operate and maintain Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems in strict accordance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute and supervise routine inspections on critical assets, including LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, standby generators, and PDUs.
- Incident Management: Provide rapid response to electrical faults or alarms, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Vendor Management: Supervise third-party contractors during specialized maintenance to ensure work meets global data center safety and quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain precise operational logs, permit-to-work (PTW) records, and compliance documentation for auditing purposes.
- Safety Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert for electrical safety, ensuring all site activities comply with local OSH regulations and company safety protocols.
Requirements
- Certification: Valid B0 Chargeman Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission Malaysia).
- Experience: At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical operations within a high-availability environment (e.g., Data Centers, Semiconductors, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Manufacturing).
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of LV distribution, protection relays, and emergency power systems.
- Readiness: Ability to work on a shift rotation and support on-call requirements to ensure 24/7 site reliability.
- Communication: Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English to coordinate with local authorities and global management teams.
