Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a B2B Marketing (Demand Gen) Manager based in Johor Bahru, with the flexibility for some remote work. The role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, conducting market research to identify trends, and driving demand generation campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with sales and customer service teams to align marketing efforts, optimizing campaigns for lead acquisition, and analysing data to inform marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- ICP and account strategy: Can define target segments, buyer personas, buying triggers, and account lists. Exercises resourcefulness and creativity.
- Campaign design: Can build campaigns around pain points like AI adoption, workforce productivity, skills transformation, and change management.
- Outbound literacy: Comfortable with LinkedIn, email sequences, webinars, partner campaigns, and direct account outreach. (Preference for online execution)
- Content-to-pipeline thinking: Can turn whitepapers, diagnostics, workshops, case studies, and events into leads. Work with our content designer and an AI agent.
- CRM discipline: Understands lifecycle stages, lead scoring, attribution, follow-up SLAs, and reporting. Have done lead enhancement either using AI or tools.
- Sales alignment: Works closely with you or a sales hire to improve conversion, not just generate MQLs. Non-slio (us vs them) mentality.
- Copy and positioning: Can write sharp B2B copy or at least brief it well.
- Experimentation mindset: Can run small tests weekly and kill weak channels quickly.
- Experience in B2B marketing or demand generation is highly desirable
- AI fluent in working on marketing use cases, including reporting.
- Proficiency with marketing tools, CRM platforms, or analytics tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
