Roles And Responsibilities
- Review client queries to support future investments in funds and transfers of holdings.
- Manage the team's daily tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Analyze and investigate reconciliation breaks internally and with Transfer Agents, taking necessary actions to resolve issues.
- Understand order-processing rules within fund prospectuses to provide accurate information to the data team and maintain a reliable database (Transfer Agent/Fund Company).
- Handle account novation projects.
- Prepare application forms required by Transfer Agents for account openings.
- Input and update account parameters in the system.
- Manage Transfer Agent communications and queries, including documentation, AML/KYC, updates, contract notes, and general fund information.
- Monitor ongoing processes and queries, providing regular updates to clients and client service teams.
- Ensure effective communication with client service and Transfer Agents to deliver timely, highquality service.
- Support the development of SWIFT connectivity with Transfer Agents to enhance straightthrough processing.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Dealing, Client Service, Data, Reconciliation, etc.).
- Identify operational improvement opportunities, including automation to support workload scalability.
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to develop effective solutions and enhance service capabilities.
- Ensure all activities are completed within agreed timelines and meet quality standards.
- Respond promptly to management queries.
- Escalate operational issues and risks to management in a timely manner.
- Perform other adhoc tasks assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of industry experience related to financial services operations with understanding of investment operations and operational excellence.
- Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
- Well-developed organizational and critical thinking skills to resolve complex day to day issues independently.
- Good interpersonal skills and networking abilities with sub-custodians and both internal/external departments.
- Detail oriented, excellent accuracy skills and good understanding in mutual fund and hedge fund are strongly recommended.
- Working hours: 3.00pm 12.00am / 4.00pm 01.00am Malaysia time.
