Your Mission
- Design high-performance APIs for hospital system integrations (HIS/EMR vendors).
- Solve complex challenges like real-time data sync, legacy system compatibility, and HIPAA-aligned security.
- Lead cloud deployment, database optimization, and AI-powered development workflows.
Critical Requirement: Elite Troubleshooting Skills
- We need a developer who doesn't just write code but solves systemic problems. You must:
- Diagnose complex issues across the stack (APIs, databases, cloud infra) like a forensic engineer.
- Think beyond logs: Use observability tools, network tracing, and heap dumps to pinpoint failures.
- Fix production fires under pressure from memory leaks to hospital integration outages.
- Anticipate failure points before they happen (e.g., race conditions in HL7 data pipelines).
Key Responsibilities:
- Backend Development & Integration
- Build scalable APIs for hospital workflows using Node.Js framework.
- Implement WebSockets for live data streaming.
- Integrate with legacy hospital systems (HL7/FHIR knowledge a plus).
System Performance & Security
- Optimize SQL queries (PostgreSQL) and caching (Redis).
- Troubleshoot latency issues in production.
- Enforce API security (JWT/OAuth, rate-limiting, HIPAA/GDPR compliance).
Cloud & DevOps Leadership
- Deploy to AWS/Azure/GCP (Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
- Automate scaling solutions for high-availability hospital environments.
Innovation & Collaboration
- Mentor junior developers in clean code practices.
- Use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate development.
- Research emerging tech (e.g., AI for HL7 data parsing).
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Node.js backend development (senior-level architecture).
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and cloud deployment.
- Mastery of database optimization (indexing, query tuning, Redis).
- Proficient in Git, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Healthcare IT experience (HIS/EMR, HL7/FHIR) is a huge plus.
