Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails)

We're looking for a Backend Developer with 2+ years of Ruby on Rails experience to join our growing team and support enterprise digital solutions projects.

Primary Skills (Must Have):

2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MVC architecture

Familiarity with version control (Git) and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)

Good to Have:

• Experience with Docker, AWS, or other cloud environments
• Understanding of front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular)

Role Summary:

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using Ruby on Rails, including building scalable APIs, integrating third-party services, and ensuring application security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end/UI teams to integrate new features.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Debug, test, and deploy applications in production environments.

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

Duration: 12 Months
