We are looking for Java Software Engineers to be based in our Malaysia Tech Center, work on end-to-end solutions for cross-border payments for our global merchants and globalization business.
In this role, you will:
- Be an active participant in the development of high-volume, high-performance, and reliable mission-critical applications.
- Design and develop new features and enhancements based on business requirements and specifications.
- Apply AI Coding tools (e.g., Codex, Qoder, Claude code, etc.) to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Create effective prompts for AI Coding tools and optimize generated code with best practices.
- Collaborate closely with team members to troubleshoot and resolve system defects, conduct code reviews, and share AI-aided development experiences.
- Participate in technical discussions, project meetings, and continuously research emerging AI-assisted programming tools or methodologies.
You could be a good fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor's or above degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid programming ability in mainstream languages (e.g., Java, Python), and foundational knowledge of databases and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with mainstream AI Coding development tools such as Codex, Qoder, Claude code, etc., with demonstrated ability to craft efficient prompts and review AI-generated code.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and basic understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Strong problem-solving and code debugging skills, with a passion for leveraging AI to enhance productivity.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork; enthusiasm for staying current with the latest AI Coding advancements.
