Overview

The Bancassurance Advisor role will be responsible for providing financial advice to clients on retirement planning, investing in the future, saving for education, and life insurance protection. He/She will generate leads, meet with clients, complete a financial needs analysis, and present them with customized financial proposals. This role reports to the Head - Regional Wealth Management (Insurance & Wealth Planning).

Job Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the Area Managers and RMs to strategizing and identifying potential customers,

  • Meeting/following up with clients,

  • Offering specialized financial guidance and advice to RMs,

  • Completing financial needs analysis,

  • To follow-up with potential customers after appointment, closure and attending to customer's request on the policy until it turn into production,

  • To review client insurance policies to identify insurance gap,

  • Assessing clients financial portfolios and risk appetite.

  • To assist to organize Banca event/day on weekly basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Malaysian citizen

  • Minimum Diploma in Finance or another related field

  • Certified CFP holders are an added advantage

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in a financial institution

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Keeps abreast with the latest products, trends and benefits
