Job Description

As a Banking Operation Team Lead - MSME, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing banking operations for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) within a pioneering digital banking platform. This position is integral to ensuring seamless account handling, operational efficiency, and enhanced customer experiences without extensive reliance on technical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage internal MSME banking operations, including account openings, loan applications, and transaction processing.
  • Process Management: Develop and implement efficient workflows to enhance operational accuracy and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulations and service standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle escalations and resolve complex operational issues effectively.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their expertise in MSME banking operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track operational performance using KPIs, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate risks by implementing safeguards such as maker-checker controls and data access protocols.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, business, and customer service teams to align operations with business strategies.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Process and manage MSME deposit and loan applications from submission to completion.
  • Enhance MSME customer journeys to drive portfolio growth and improve user experiences.
  • Ensure the timely and satisfactory completion of assigned tasks related to MSME products.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in banking operations, particularly with MSME clients.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of MSME banking processes and manual handling within a digital banking context.
  • Experience with business loan applications is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and operational standards for MSME banking.
