At Moxy, the bar is more than just a place for drinks, it's the heart of the social scene. We're looking for a vibrant, entrepreneurial, and guest-focused Bar Manager to lead our bar operations, energize the Crew, and create unforgettable experiences that keep guests coming back for more.
As Bar Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the bar, lead and develop the team, manage inventory and costs, and ensure every guest enjoys the fun, bold, and lively atmosphere that defines the Moxy brand.
What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Create memorable guest experiences by delivering exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate the Bar Crew to achieve service, quality, and performance goals.
- Assist with beverage menu planning, promotions, and activations that drive guest engagement and revenue.
- Maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, cleanliness, and brand compliance.
- Manage inventory levels, liquor controls, ordering, and stock management to minimize waste and control costs.
- Support the team during busy service periods and lead by example on the floor.
- Monitor financial performance, control operating expenses, and contribute to achieving departmental targets.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations, safety standards, and Marriott policies.
- Identify training needs, develop talent, and create a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Collaborate with other Food & Beverage outlets and provide operational support when needed.
