The Role
As a
BE Equipment Engineering Engineer, you will lead equipment-related projects and quality improvement initiatives within the Backend Test manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, managing risks, supporting new equipment qualifications, and driving continuous improvement to achieve operational and quality excellence.
What You Need To Do
- Lead new equipment introduction and equipment improvement projects.
- Drive LOH, ICAR, and quality improvement actions, ensuring effectiveness and closure.
- Identify and mitigate equipment risks through EFMEA and proactive monitoring.
- Support qualification and validation for new equipment, products, and process changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Review audit findings and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
- Support customer complaint investigations, failure analysis, and reliability assessments.
- Prepare and present technical updates and Change Management Board reviews.
What You Need To Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Diploma with 15 years in Back End semiconductor experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in Backend Test.
- Experience in test equipment engineering, manufacturing, or process quality.
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of SPC, FMEA, failure analysis, and reliability assessment.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards and audit requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Key Success Measures
- Successful implementation of M/PCps for new equipment.
- Timely EFMEA updates and completion of risk mitigation actions.
- Delivery of LOH and ICAR improvement initiatives.
- Effective firewall gate enhancements and systemic quality solutions.
- Achievement of Backend quality targets and customer satisfaction
